The Madoc Yacht Club was founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic yachtsmen keen to share their experiences in a convivial social environment. A lease was obtained on the old Harbourmaster's office and Seaman`s mission. After a good deal of hard work by members, the building was converted to a comfortable clubhouse. Many years later the club was able to acquire the freehold of the property and by progressive investment and development we have the superb facilities you see today
