Olympic Games 2012 Sailing Accommodation
All sailing events for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will be held in Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy. Dorset by the South Coast.
Weymouth and Portland Harbour provide some of the best natural Sailing waters in the UK, with facilities on land to match.
The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy is on England’s south coast, on the site of a former Naval Air Station at Osprey Quay. It is an exposed spot at the western end of the English Channel, providing excellent facilities for Sailing in all conditions.
During the Games
Sailing will be a non-ticketed event and therefore be free for spectators who will be able to view the Olympic and Paralympic Sailing competitions not only from the shore, but also from the many high points around the coastline overlooking Weymouth and Portland Harbour.
