The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, home of one-design sailing on the East Coast. Founded in 1872 on the Thames at Erith, the Club moved to Burnham in 1892, and opened its first branch here in 1898. The award -winning designed Clubhouse was opened 75 years ago in 1931, when ‘Tiny’ Mitchell was its first commodore.
