The Thames Estuary Yacht Club was founded in 1947 and is a direct descendant of the earlier Westcliff and Nore Yacht Clubs. The Club's long history gives it a stability and warmth often lacking in much of today's life as our growing family membership confirms.
We currently have a membership of about 250 who enjoy a wide programme of sailing and social activities. We pride ourselves on being a very friendly club and new members, whether they are experienced sailors or just beginning, are always made welcome
